For a bike tour to be a success, the bike panniers must be easy to use and provide plenty of space for clothes, food and other travel gear. It goes without saying that a good pannier must be waterproof. The CONTEC single pannier "Transit Waterproof" is convincing in all of these.

This quality product by CONTEC offers individual closure options. The pannier with a generous volume of approx. 25 l, in the dimensions 30 x 16 x 56 cm (length x width x height), can be adapted to the contents thanks to the hermetic roll closure. The roller closure in combination with the waterproof polyester/nylon mix of the outer casing ensures that gear is always totally safe from rain and dirt.

The sporty look of the outer shell is rounded off by side reflective elements. These reflect the headlights of approaching vehicles and improve safety in the dark. With the practical Rixen & Kaul mounting system, the pannier can be securely attached and locked to any standard rack with a rail diameter of 6 to 12 mm. By pulling the release mechanism, the hooks disengage. This makes it easy to remove the pannier.

If the pannier is to remain on the bicycle and only the contents are to be removed, the removable inner pocket offers a real advantage. This extra large pannier is ideal for casual shopping.
