Steel is the end all be all for this highly flexible bicycle lock: The cable, which forms the basis for the high-performance construction, is made of steel and is additionally reinforced by hardened joints, which are also made of steel. This base provides an effective stop to attacks by potential thieves and ensures that the bicycle can be safely locked up.
The steel cable is covered by a vinyl coating. It is as resistant as it is waterproof. Vinyl prevents moisture from entering - an optimal corrosion protection. Even your own hands and bike frame benefit from vinyl, which prevents direct contact to the steel and thus protects against scratches.
The "X2-Power Double Bolt Locking" system ensures that the actual lock doesn’t become a weak point. The double bolt lock makes it almost impossible to pull out, thus making the bike safe. The precision locking cylinder "Bump Block" also protects against attacks. It is surrounded by a robust steel capsule. Again, thieves have little chance of cracking this secure bicycle lock.
