The CONTEC platform pedal "2Black" is perfectly adapted to these requirements: The one-piece aluminium body offers a generous contact area and torsional stiffness under high loads with a total weight of both pedals of only 420 g.
The robust axle made of high-quality CrMo steel with a typical 9/16" thread also contributes to the durability and stability of the pedal. This steel alloy is characterised by robustness and break resistance, which is an added benefit in terms of safety and reliability due to the high continuous loads in mountain bike sports. Smooth-running ball bearings ensure supple rotation and great forward motion.
The CONTEC platform pedal "2Black" can also be adapted to personal needs on and off the trail by means of removable reflectors and replaceable pins (R-pins) and can be used in the long term without having to compromise. Lost or worn pins can easily be replaced with new single or different coloured R pins, which are screwed into the intended threads with the supplied spanner.
