Your wheels have to be able to withstand some of these challenges. But what actually makes a good wheel? With the CONTEC Zen Disc Eroq 19 rear wheel in the 28" version, you don't need to worry about that.
The wheel is designed for a maximum load of 150 kg weight. This means it is also suitable for rides with a lot of luggage, for heavy riders and for heavy e-bikes.
The built-in EROQ cassette rear hub has an aluminium body with a hollow axle and is attached to your bike using a suitable quick release (e.g. CONTEC EROQ.R Rear). The matching quick release is included with the hub. The standard installation width of the CONTEC EROQ cassette rear hub is 135 mm and it has a 6-hole brake disc mount. The wheel has a robust Shimano HG freehub body made of sturdy steel with a high quality ball bearing. Its ratchet freehub system with 27 teeth and 3 pawls offers fast interaction between the freehub and hub body, so that your pedal stroke is quickly converted into propulsion.
The frame is formed by the CONTEC Zen 28 Disc rim. With an inner rim width of 19 mm, tyres ranging in size from 28 to 62 mm fit onto the wheel. The 2.00 stainless steel spokes form a strong connection between these two main components. All CONTEC wheels are assembled in our wheel factory in Hoya/Lower Saxony (Germany) by experienced specialists and perfectly centred using the latest technology.
