Bumpy cobbled streets in the old town, tram grooves and kerbs - anyone who rides their (e-)bike in the city will be familiar with these challenging spots along their route. Your wheels have to be able to withstand some of these challenges. But what actually makes a good wheel? With the CONTEC Zen Disc Eroq 25 front wheel in the 28" version, you don't need to worry about that.
The wheel is designed for a maximum load of 150 kg weight. This means it is also suitable for rides with a lot of luggage, for heavy riders and for heavy e-bikes.
The built-in EROQ front hub is a quick release hub, and it is attached to the bike with a suitable QR (eg CONTEC EROQ.R front). The matching quick release is included with the hub. The standard hub width is 100 mm and it has a 6-hole brake disc mount.
The frame is formed by the CONTEC Zen 28 Disc rim. With an inner rim width of 25 mm, tyres ranging in size from 42 to 62 mm fit onto the wheel. The 2.00 stainless steel spokes form a strong connection between these two main components.
All CONTEC wheels are assembled in our wheel factory in Hoya/Lower Saxony (Germany) by experienced specialists and perfectly centred using the latest technology.
